Li Bai Hairy Crab Crystal Hor Fun in Claypot

Hairy Crabs have furry claws, which has also earned them the name “mitten crabs.” These crustaceans are mainly bred in freshwater, and are known for its roe and golden fat. Li Bai prides itself in sourcing our crabs from the famed Yangcheng Lake. Its meat is also said to have a ‘cooling’ effect on the body.

Li Bai Traditional Steamed Hairy Crab

Traditionally Steamed ($88, above) is the best way to enjoy hairy crab, which is why it is a staple in our seasonal menu. Another crowd-favourite is our Stewed Crystal Hor Fun in Claypot ($98). 

If you’d like to have it as an accompanying or starter dish instead, we got you. Our ‘special’ Xiao Long Bao ($28) filling is infused with Hairy Crab, then steamed to perfection. Try our Braised Beancurd with Spinach & Crab Roe ($32) for a well-balanced meal, or have it in the form of Bird’s Nest ($98, cover image), also topped with crab meat & roe.
